Apple Maps

With the 2012 release of the iOS 6 operating system, Apple revealed that due to disputes with Google, it would be replacing Google Maps with its own Apple Maps as the default navigation app. Apple Maps was plagued from the get-go with incorrect directions, mislabeled landmarks, and bizarrely glitchy satellite images including bridges that appeared to plunge into bodies of water. To make matters worse, users couldn’t even download a Google Maps app from the App Store for three whole months.
