Apple introduced the iPod Nano as a smaller, sleeker, more affordable version of the classic iPod line, but its 2007 3rd generation model also stands out in an odd way. The addition of video play capabilities and more mobile gaming functionality required a larger screen, so Apple accommodated this change with a shorter, fatter, heavier, and some would say uglier design.
