Playing It Straight
We’ll give this show a small amount of credit. At least its “straight guys pretending to be gay guys” premise is frontloaded out of the gate, unlike Boy Meets Boy. It still doesn’t stop the show from feeling exploitative and problematic. Is it weird that A Shot At Love is somehow the most “okay” LGBTQ dating show?
