What’s worse about Average Joe? Is it the fact that its premise, where one suitor must choose between “unattractive people” and “attractive people”, perpetuates miserable social mores? Or is it the fact that, for three of its four seasons, the winner was one of these attractive people, thereby “proving” that looks triumph over basic humanity?
