My Poor Friend
“I was giving a presentation in one of my grad classes and sharing my screen at the time. I have a Mac with iMessage. My best friend (also a student in the same grad department) started texting me detailed updates on a genital cyst situation they were experiencing… The messages were showing up in the corner of my screen while I was sharing for all to read. This was right at the beginning of Corona, and so I wasn’t used to doing screen sharing, and I just started panicking and saying, “I want this to stop! I do not want this!”
