Noisy Mom
“College student here. I was on a call for my astronomy class (I have since dropped it), which was a lecture of about 150 students. Our professor wasn’t the most tech-savvy individual and hadn’t quite grasped the concept of being able to mute the class. In the first class, some kid was unmuted (likely a freshman), and his mom was watching the lecture with him, making comments about damn near everything the professor said. You would hear her say, “oh wow, that’s really interesting. Did you know that? I didn’t know that,” followed by him getting increasingly frustrated with her.”
