The Same Owner
What shocked Patrick the most was that those two carts were being cashed by the same owner. Apparently, it was a family who was shopping together. Still, he was stunned. While he knew that there were people who earned much more money than he did, to see the fruits of their finances being lavishly flaunted before his eyes was unsettling, to say the least. It made him reflect on his own money problems, something which caused him to feel sad. Still, he comforted himself knowing that he would soon be starting a new job in the army which would allow him to start his journey towards financial freedom.
