Although Patrick was sure that he was right, he had no idea how others would have reacted to his post. He soon realized that people were equally as outraged as he was. Comments in support of his condemnation of the family poured in by the dozens. The majority of these posts also reiterated Patrick’s point about how unfair it is to abuse the justice system especially when there are people who actually need help but can’t access it. One comment in particular warmed Patrick’s heart and nearly brought him and his wife to tears when they read it.
