Amidst the slew of comments that were piling up under Patrick’s post, there was one that stood out to him. Diane Smith, someone who he and his wife both knew, commented on the incident and extended her blessings to the family. She said “I agree with you Patrick 100%. There are a lot that really need it but as you said there are a lot that abuse the system and a lot like yourself that need them and can’t get them, especially you and your family.” She then added, “Hope Whitney can get a job soon so things will get better.” The couple was overjoyed to know that people were rooting for them.
