Unfavorable Comments
While there were some comments that made Patrick smile, there were, of course, others which he wasn’t too fond of. Some people accused him of judging a book by its cover, claiming that he was making a series of assumptions about a family’s finances without even knowing them. For all he knew, the car could have been a gift. However, Patrick did not allow those comments to shake him or make him feel bad. He felt confident in his decision and that’s all that mattered.
