At the 1994 Olympics, Tonya Harding was one of the biggest names in women’s competitive skating alongside Nancy Kerrigan. Until one day, a man attacked Nancy with a bat and damaged her knee to keep her from competing. We later learned that the attack was Tonya’s idea. Tonya ended up getting banned for life at the U.S. Figure Skating Association, getting stripped of her titles, and getting probation. Wowza!
