Helen Mirren won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2007 for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth I in the film “The Queen.” She had been nominated twice before for Best Supporting Actress in 2002 and 1995, and she was nominated for Best Actress again in 2010. She also has won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe.
