Eleven years after the band broke up, in 2003, The Pixies announced a reunion tour ended with headlining the Coachella festival. This news made waves with all of the alt rockers around the nation — thus inevitably selling out Coachella. This was the first time the festival sold out and the Pixies definitely did not disappoint.
