<p><p>The tradeoff for Netflix taking over Charlie Booker’s show was an influx of American characters telling American stories. And not like they’re bad, exactly – Bryce Dallas Howard’s “Nosedive” cuts my millennial heart right to the quick – but they’re just not as thrilling as the episodes set in Britain. I guess there’s something intrinsically otherworldly about a future set across the pond.</p></p>
