A Look At The Artist
According to Rose, the artist was none other than Henry Francois Farny. Apparently, despite his French heritage, this artist had forged a rather strong and interesting relationship with Native North Americans that can only be described as legendary. The artist was said to have roamed with the natives, developing an affinity for the forest as a child from the Seneca tribe who was assumed into their clan. As interesting as that tale is, it still didn’t answer a major question: how had Rose’s grandmother managed to come into possession of this piece of art?
