Ever since she was a little girl, Rose had not known a life without that painting. It used to be hung right above her grandmother’s bed. Even as a young girl, something about the painting drew her in. She was mesmerized by how calm and scenic the picture was. Every time she looked at it, she felt a peace that filled her body and soul. No work of art had ever had such an impact on her before. Therefore, ever since, she knew that she had to keep it safe and close by. However, nobody in her family knew much about the painting. They didn’t even know if it was an original piece, although Rose had begun to suspect so. That was until one day, something strange occurred…
