To the security guard’s horror, he discovered that the painting known as the “Woman-Orche” was no longer there. The painting had been done by an internationally renowned Dutch artist by the name of Willem De Kooning. The only trace left of the painting was where it had been stored all this time; in a rectangular piece of canvas. The security guard found that the picture had been removed from the canvas with a fine blade. The police were called in. Upon investigating the scene of the crime, they did not find any fingerprints and virtually had no clues except for the eyewitness account of the security guard. Meanwhile, the couple had made away with one of the most prized possessions in the museum…
