The Relatives He Once Knew

Even as the evidence continued to incriminate Jerry and Rita of the theft of a famous painting from a museum decades earlier, Ron found it hard to believe. The image that he and so many others had of his relatives did not add up to what law enforcers were presenting to him. A photograph from 1985 was unearthed of the couple. Investigators found that it matched the descriptions provided by the security guard at the time. What’s more, they also discovered that Jerry once owned a red sports car much like the one described in the security guard’s account. There was no doubt about it: Jerry and Rita were the ones who had stolen the painting so many years earlier. What would they do with the painting now that it had been discovered?
