An Unsuspecting Discovery
Needless to say, Rose wasn’t too pleased with having to remove the mosquito from the painting. At the time, she did not know whether the artifact that her grandmother had passed down to her was an original or not. What’s more, it was centuries old, meaning that it was fragile. As a result, she felt that tampering with it could spell possibly damaging the heirloom itself. However, she knew that she could not allow a blemish to compromise its aesthetic appeal. Moreover, it was a mosquito, one of the most annoying creatures on the planet. Or so she thought.
