Harry Potter
No reboot has yet been announced, and detractors may say that it’s too soon, but is there really any fantasy story that has more potential to unite us all around our TV screens for weekly appointment viewing than Harry Potter? Don’t get me wrong, the Warner Bros. movies had their strengths, but now that the pop culture environment has embraced episodic fantasy storytelling, wouldn’t it be great to see a Harry Potter series in the vein of “Game of Thrones” with more space to explore the depths of J. K. Rowling’s novels, and possibly even parts of the extended canon from her Pottermore website?
