Since Nick Fury introduced the idea of the Avengers after the main action of Iron Man, the “post-credits sequence” has come to define the MCU. And part of what made Guardians Of The Galaxy such a breath of fresh air was its willingness to mess with this formula. Unlike its predecessors, no important plot points are foreshadowed in the post-credits sequence of Guardians. It’s just Howard The Duck being a real weirdo. And making us LOL.
