It rankled many a fan’s feathers. But wowie zowie, do we find the central twist around the Iron Man 3 villain friggin’ hilarious. Writer/director Shane Black, assisted by the wild performance stylings of Sir Ben Kingsley, turn one of the most iconic comic book villains into a low-status con man. It’s bold and ballsy. It’s rambunctious. It’s comedic rock and roll.
