The Hollywood bodyguard was stabbed in the abdomen with a butcher knife on April 4, 1958. Lana Turner’s daughter, Cheryl Crane, 14, confessed to the crime. Lana was allegedly abused by Stompanato. But many believe Lana was the killer, and she passed the crime on to Cheryl. Sadly, we’ll never know who did it.
