Thelma Todd
On Dec. 16, 1935, actress Thelma Todd was found slumped over the front seat of her car in actress Jewel Carmen’s garage, still wearing the clothes from the night of Dec. 14. Officially, she died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Some say it was suicide, others suggest it was an accident, while others believe it was cold-blooded murder.
