Bob Crane
The star of the show “Hogan’s Heroes” made home sex movies, but he didn’t always tell his partners he was recording them. On June 29, 1978, Crane was bludgeoned with a tripod and strangled with a VCR cable. John Carpenter, who helped him film, was charged but acquitted. As to who did it? No one knows to this day.
