Watchmen – The Comedian
Say what you will about Zack Snyder’s idiosyncratic adaptation of what many believe is the best comic book ever written: Morgan’s depiction of the tortured Edward Blake (aka The Comedian) is a physical and psychologcal tour-de-force. “That was a game changer as far as my movie career goes,” said Morgan, even though he originally closed the script after his character seemed to die on page two. Thank God for flashbacks!
