A dog named Hubble is sent to Earth from the distant planet Sirius to see if dogs, which were sent thousands of years ago have taken over Earth. In the process, Hubble meets with Owen, a human boy. He eventually realizes that humans really are man’s best friend, a concept he has to get his superior the Greater Dane to accept.
