Where Are They Now? The Cast of ‘Even Stevens’

Where Are They Now? The Cast of ‘Even Stevens’ April 16, 2018

Do you remember Even Stevens? Because if you were a kid in the early '00s, you probably watched the now classic Disney Channel while you were growing up. It's crazy to think the show ended 15 years ago already. But it's true. So do you ever wonder where the cast of Even Stevens is now? For example, where's Beans from Even Stevens now? And what does he look like? And did he get hot? What about that kid who played Louis Stevens? Whatever happened to that guy? Well, I have good news for you. Because I'm here to answer your burning questions about where everyone from the cast of Even Stevens is now.

Shia LaBeouf, Then

Buena Vista Television

Louis Stevens was the youngest of the Stevens, played by Shia LaBeouf. Louis was the wacky, immature, but lovable youngest brother of the bunch. He was basically the opposite of his older sister, Ren Stevens. He always would play pranks with his best friend Alan Twitty and later on in the seasons with Beans.

Shia LaBeouf played Louis Stevens, the youngest brother on the show. He has been in several movies like the Transformers franchise but has been a little MIA as of late because of some public breakdowns. Now he's doing art pieces like an anti-Trump last year called "He Will Not Divide Us." He is still making movies too, and in 2019 he wrote and starred in the film "Honey Boy," that took some inspiration from his time growing up in front of the cameras during his years on "Even Stevens."

Christy Carlson Romano, Then

Buena Vista Television

Ren Stevens was the middle child and the only sister of the Stevens family. She was played by Christy Carlson Romano. She was the smartest of the bunch and a perfectionist. She was the nerd of the bunch, preferring to work on the school paper instead of play on the cheerleading squad.

Whereas Monique had a strong southern accent and was actually on the cheerleading squad. Two girls pretty different from Ren, but they all got along and were best buddies together.

Kenya Williams, Now

Kenya Williams played Ren Steven's other best friend Monique Taylor. Williams has been off the radar since 2006. She played in other shows like "Touched by an Angel" and "The Shield" but hasn't done much lately -- maybe she decided that the Hollywood life wasn't for her.

Lauren Frost, Then

Buena Vista Television

Coach Tugnut was everyone's favorite wacky gym teacher. He is the definition of "those who can't do: teach" because he's not 100% there upstairs. He is always the victim to Louis's pranks but loved his older brother Donnie and, his nemesis, Larry. He also loves food and used to be extremely overweight.

Actor Jim Wise played the goofball gym teacher Coach Tugnut. Wise has been continuing acting since the show ended, but mostly he's a writer now. He's written for the latest "MadTV" series in 2016 and award shows like the Emmy's, The TV Land Icon Awards, and a special "A Little Help with Carol Burnett."

Steven Anthony Lawrence, Then

Buena Vista Television

Beans or Bernard "Beans" Aranguren to be correct was the Stevens' annoying neighbor who came on in later seasons of the show. He loved bacon, which was a reaccuring theme. He eventually became the sidekick to Louis and Twitty but would always mess up or doublecross them in the plans.

Steven Anthony Lawrence played Beans -- Louis's annoying sidekick who came on in later seasons. He was in a handful of other movies and shows after "Even Stevens" like "Weeds" and "Eagleheart." Most recently though, in 2015 he was spotted working as Santa's Helper in a local mall, looks like he kind of spilled the beans on his acting career -- get it? Get it?

Nick Spano, Then

Buena Vista Television

Donnie Stevens was the oldest brother of the Stevens family clan, he was played by Nick Spano. He is the airhead and jock of the crew and, along with that, arguably the babe of the Stevens kids. He was a legend at their high school in athletics but still the dullest crayon in the box.

Nick Spano, Now

Nick Spano played the oldest sibling, Donnie Stevens. He was the hot, dumb older brother. He took some guest roles in "NCIS" and "Alias" but he has taken a break from acting. He created City Farm an organization that's goal is to make locally farmed organic produce in Southern California you can check that out here.

Alan Twitty was one of Louis Steven's best friends. Similar to Louis but not as extreme, he tends to be the one to get Louis out of jams. He was also not a super job but on some sports teams like the basketball team and played guitar.

A.J. Trauth played one of Louis's best friends aka Alan Twitty in the show. He has been acting a little bit playing parts in shows like "Ro" and "Franklin and Bash." Gary LeRoi Gray, Then

Nelson Minkler was Ren's childhood best friend. He was played by Gary LeRoi Gary. Nelson Minkler was only on the show briefly -- 9 episodes to be exact -- but he left an impression. He was always allergic to everything and would overprotect himself when he went outside because of his allergies.

Principal Conrad Wexler was the principal of Lawrence Junior High -- the school that the Stevens kids and their friends attended. He was always fond of Ren Stevens and sometimes gives her extra work, but found Louis to be a nuisance and a pest. He was played by George Anthony Ball.

George Anthony Bell played the oddly lovable Principal Conrad Wexler. He, similar to majority of the other actors on the show, has had stints in various other series. Most notably "Gilmore Girls," even reappearing in the show when it came back in 2016 which was his most recent credit to date.

Ty Hodges, Then

Buena Vista Television
[dx_custom_adunit desktop_id="RTK_K67O" mobile_id="RTK_5yk0"]

Larry Beale is the Stevens' nemesis -- more specifically Ren's. He was a jock and pretty smart, always coming in 2nd to Ren in competitions. Larry always tries to create plans to ruin Ren's golden reputation but they never succeed. He sometimes messed with Louis, too. He was played by Ty Hodges.

Ty Hodges played Larry Beale the bully/jock of the series. According to his IMDb, Hodges did some more acting after "Even Stevens" his most recent role was in the film "Charlie, Trevor, and a Girl Savannah" in 2015. Hodges has also created a production company called Art Farm Productions.

Fred Meyers, Then

Tom Gribalski was Louis's nerdy best friend. Out of his three best friends, Tom would be the chicken and one that would try to coax Louis out of his scheme. He is very into science and always speaks very intelligently and matter-of-factly which is probably why he is usually the victim of Louis's pranks sometimes.

Fred Meyers played Tom Gribalski the nerd that always rubbed you the wrong way. He seems to be laying low lately. His last movie role was playing "lanky teenager" in "Hallowed Ground" in 2007. It was hard to find a photo of him but this seems to be the most recent photo.

Margo Harshman, Then

Tawny Dean was Louis's best female friend and would end up playing his girlfriend on the show. She first starts off as an outsider and has no friends. She dresses in goth clothing and is by herself, until she joins Louis's rat pack team and the rest is history.

Eileen Stevens was the matriarch aka the mom of the Stevens' clan. She was a successful Jewish American state senator who launced a campaign of the U.S. House of Representatiives in 2002 and was only narrorwly defeated. Yeah, Disney goes there and sometimes gives parents real careers on their shows.

Donna Pescow played Mama Stevens aka Eileen Stevens. Donna Pescow continued playing bit parts in several television shows. Some of which you might have seen her in are "New Girl," "Cold Case," and "The Flash." Just last year she participated as a host for a panel at the TCM Classic Film Fest.

Tom Virtue, Then

Buena Vista Television

Steve Stevens was the father of Donnie, Ren, and Louis. He was a quirky lawyer. Yeah, the Stevens' had money even though they just lived in Sacramento. He also used to play football in college and wrestle for his high school growing up. He was a quirky and fun dad.
