They created nests and tunnels in their mounds of stuff
As a way to pass the time, and trick the would-be intruders, Langley created tunnels throughout the house. The tunnels would even act as a way for him to escape into a different room. And since all the beds in the house disappeared underneath their belongings, the brothers created nests. They moved items around, so they could lay on top of all their garbage.
