Smoking Allowed
How could we have been so stupid? Luckily today, smoking on a flight is illegal however, for some reason up until 2000 we didn’t see the risk in lighting up while onboard. In fact it was prohibited to smoke in the airport terminal incase it ignited refuelling flames, but it it was perfectly acceptable for a possible fire to take place in the air with little fire fighting resources!
