It appears that the slaves transported the stones that make up the pyramid from a location that was quite far from the construction site. The Greek historian Herodotus seems to give us a clear view on this subject and confirms these claims.
These new findings shine new light on the way pyramids were built and Herodotus might actually be wrong!
