What Started as a Typical Trip
It was a special fourth of July fishing trip for 11-year-old Brodie Brooks. Finally, he had been invited to go into the water with the older boys in the family. He had just gotten a brand new rod for his birthday, and that was the time he was going to test it out.
However, what should have been a grand fishing adventure turned out to be one of the oddest moments in this kid’s life. He had come to the lake looking to catch some fish, but what he got was something else.
