Pygmy Seahorse
The pygmy seahorse is so small and so well camouflaged into its background, its discovery was purely accidental — some coral was placed into captivity and examined, with the hidden pygmy seahorse inadvertently going along for the ride. They are only 3/14 of an inch, though, so can you really blame the scientists?
