Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko

Objectively the coolest named animal, the satanic leaf-tailed gecko’s tail looks like it has chunks taken away from it. Appropriately metal, no? The gecko’s diet in the wild is unknown, but in captivity, it eats “almost everything they can overwhelm, including crickets, flies, spiders, cockroaches, and snails,” according to herpetologist Frank Glaw.
