Bark Mantis
While the praying mantis may be more common than some of the other, more exotic species on this list, that doesn’t stop it from being one tough critter. Unlike other animals on this list who use camouflage to hide from predators, the mantis uses its camouflage to hide as a predator — sometimes even eating a reptile or bird.
