Lafforgue explained a rule of thumb when taking pictures in North Korea: “Never take a picture where you can see people doing silly things in front of the Kim portraits.” Does taking a photo of the photographer taking a photo with an iPad count as “silly”? Or is it just, as Lafforgue puts it, “very meta”?
