There are many obviously Western-influenced elements to life in North Korea, beyond Disney picture frames. For the elite class, it’s not entirely uncommon to visit an amusement park (where a fight may break out waiting in line), or eat a burger and a 7-Up at an American-style diner (Kim Jong-il being the inventor of the hamburger, of course).
