Time is Gold
The original plan of creating a hole around was changed. They were now trying to create a trench. This would help them push the calf towards solid ground.
Since they were about to hold the baby, the rescuers were also wary about how the herd would react. But the elephants had also made it clear to everybody that they wanted the mission to be over and done with. The older ones made loud noises again that was heard from miles away. This increased the pressure on this workers, but their enthusiasm and excitement also doubled.
