Finally
By the next afternoon, the long, tiresome and excruciating rescue mission had come to a close. There they were: a group of wildlife officers, local volunteers, a huge machine and a herd of elephants all gathered happily to finally see the baby elephant take its first steps outside of the pit where it had been trapped for more than two days.
What seemed like an impossible mission was made possible thanks to the strong determination and united effort of man, animal, and machine.
