150 Rats In One Room
I had a roommate that seemed normal at first. She moved into the house I owned and was a very clean, charming young lady. A few months down the road, things started getting rather stinky around her room, so I brought it up in a conversation with her. Apparently, she had been capturing and collecting wild rats and putting them in cages she brought in while I was at work. I asked to see them, and she led me to her room. There must have been at least 150 rats in dozens of cages. The smell hit like a ton of bricks. I told her she had one week to move out, and she wasn’t getting her deposit back. She flipped out and said she’d never find a place for her and her “babies.” Shortly after she moved, I had one hell of a rat infestation and sold the house. No more roommates ever.
