In April 2018, the US government released nearly 19,000 newly declassified JFK documents. Surprisingly, most of the information within had little to do with the assassination itself (and some previously released information was newly redacted). Of note, however, is a transcript of an interview with former CIA counterintelligence chief James Angleton, who discusses Soviet infiltration of Western intelligence agencies.
