A 20-year-old-girl is shot twice after a spring break hookup
In 1993, 20-year-old Christine Lazzaro traveled to Daytona Beach for spring break with friends. She met a man one night and, after a late night hookup, he caught her going through his things. Since he was wanted by police at the time and carried several IDs, he assumed she was going to go to police and shot her on the side of the road. Her body was found on Easter Sunday, and it took 17 years before a prison confession led to her killer.
