A high schooler is abducted, raped, killed, and fed to alligator
When 17-year-old Brittanee Drexel left for spring break, her mom assumed she’d be spending it with friends in New York. After a few days, she got a call from Brittanee’s boyfriend saying she’d gone to Myrtle Beach and couldn’t be found. Seven years later, a man serving time for an unrelated crime claimed he’d seen her raped, beaten, shot, and eventually fed to alligators. Those allegations have never been substantiated, and Drexel’s case is still open.
