Sometimes being the “cool mom” is a thing best left for high school house parties. And not, say, a bar in Cancun. Beth Brennan’s mother took her and her underage sister on a spring break vacation, and, being the “cool mom” she was, decided to plaster the girls with drinks. That is, until hotel security threatened to kick her out and send her to a Mexican prison, where we’re sure she’d get all the free drinks she could ever ask for. Or not.
