Attitudes Towards Mental Illness

During stress, the patient is strapped into the suspended chair and spun around rapidly in order to calm the patient down and determine their state of mind because “a normal patient would be dizzy but a psychotic would not.” Fortunately, our attitudes towards mental illness have changed.
