Smuggling exotic animals is common in Southern California. Just ask Sony Dong, who had tried to walk out of the Los Angeles International Airport in California wearing these socks, which had fourteen songbirds strapped to his legs. Dong was detained and charged on May 5, 2009, after it became clear that there was more to his ensemble than met the eye.
