Matthew and Doug
Doug was in jail for eight years for drug use. He wrote a letter to Richard and asked him, “For a long time I wondered what was wrong with me that would warrant someone being able to just walk away. What was so bad that you had to disappear?” His brother, Matthew, also felt miserable his entire childhood and adulthood. He could never forgive his father for what he had done to their family. But what went wrong in the first place? What did Richard need so much money for?
