“I believe he got caught up with the wrong people. Got carried away and over his head in something,” said Matthew. Richard served two years in prison for identity theft. After being released, he went to the court in Indiana, where his ex-wife sued him for 2 million dollars in unpaid child support. Linda won the case, but Richard had no assets to pay her back with. The worst of all, he never apologized for his actions to neither of the two families that he hurt the most.
