Maybe the Blazers should just give up on drafting centers. The No. 1 overall pick of the 2007 NBA Draft, one spot ahead of Kevin Durant, played in just 82 games over the following three years. He was promising when he played, but he was out of the league following the 2009-10 season, until a brief comeback with the Heat in 2013-14. As of 2017, he was back at Ohio State finishing his degree.
