These Nets were so bad, they didn’t get a win until their third head coach of the season stepped in. Setting a record by starting the season with 18 straight losses, the team fired Lawrence Frank after defeat No. 16. Following two straight losses under interim coach Tom Barrise, general manager Kiki Vandeweghe led the team to victory in his first game on the sidelines. They finished the year 12-70.
